This is a book for children who are beginning to read. It is a very simple and friendly book, with beautiful and colorful illustrations. There are different scenes where a boy or a girl presents themselves and says a phrase related to the illustration drawn. And Rhino is lovely!
This was a good choice for a four year old learning to read. The repetitive nature of the book allows them to repeat and retain phrases. Other books aimed at this age group sometimes have simple words but not full sentences; others have full sentences but are too long or complex for him. I felt this struck the right balance for a child starting to read.
Book was great as a first reader for children. Nice and simple and engaging. Words are easy to follow too.
